Hi all! It’s been a while since I’ve published anything because I have been so busy!
I spent a week in Chicago over Thanksgiving, and it was much colder than the 70 degree weather we had in Texas that week. It was the perfect time to finally break out my winter clothes! These pictures don’t do the gorgeous city justice, but I wanted to show them anyways.
I’ve found my winter essentials on the Magnificent Mile: This adorable hat from Anthropologie is as cozy as it looks! The coat is from last season, but I found a super similar one on sale.
Okay now I need to talk about these jeans. As a tall girl, it is super hard to find denim long enough at my waist size. ASOS provided the perfect solution with almost custom length to waist sizing in their tall department! They are so soft and fit perfectly. After even 7fam couldn’t fit me, I knew I was going to have to branch out and I was so thrilled when I found out that ASOS could get me a 36 inch inseam.
These perfect suede side-zip boots are the most comfortable, practical, gorgeous boots I’ve ever found.
J. Crew outdid themselves with these black boots that tie together literally any winter look.
This next look is what I whipped out for our family Thanksgiving dinner. I absolutely love how these boots can dress up or stay casual! I adore you, J. Crew.
I’m sorry to say that this is the only photo I snapped of this outfit, and the night sky doesn’t make for the best lighting!
This top is slouchy and soft, the yummiest tee combo. It tucked perfectly into these white jeans. I threw a cropped-sleeve black blazer over it to dress it up and keep me warm, although I’m pretty sure the coat never came off.

February 17, 2017 at 6:27 pm[…] This outfit is all things classic, flirty, and colorful, with an edge that takes it to another level. The blouse was a Rag & Bone score from Neiman’s Last Call, and is sold out everywhere, but the killer black slacks from ASOS are still up in every size! You can check out the boots in one of my other posts. […]
