Little Things

So I just thought I would share something straight from my journal entry yesterday, February 27th.

“Tonight I went with my family to see the movie, ‘Risen’. Before we went into the movie, this small woman with a brace on her entire leg and a smile on her face limped over to where me and my dad were standing. She leaned towards me and said, ‘Excuse me, you are beautiful…’ She, a girl who can barely walk and squeeze out five words came over to tell me that I am beautiful. Myself, who was dressed sloppy and already was self conscious to be out in public believed myself to be the last person who deserved to hear that at the moment. God used that incredible woman to tell me exactly what I needed to hear. He will use the least of these for His purpose. I genuinely believe that this woman has humbled herself before the Lord, and she is being used for the greater good. Sincerely in awe.”

I hope this encourages you to encourage others, no matter how much you need it yourself!

Isn’t it just everything when God sends the least likely messenger to share a glimpse of His heart for you?? I love it. And I love that you shared a bit of your journal. I’m an avid journaler (if that’s a word) and occasionally share entries on my blog as well. It’s pretty vulnerable, but what better snapshot of your relationship with Christ?

Just discovered your blog today and I’m glad that I did. 🙂
