I don’t know about y’all, but I crave summer all. year. long. That is, until about early September when busy life is in full swing, there isn’t time for chilling in the sun, and walking to work in denim shorts that ride up (the most uncomfy clothing item ever) is definitely not an option. September 1st included me sweating my butt off walking home during lunch in a tennis skirt, two hot pumpkin spice lattes in hand, melting under the 88 degree sunshine. All I wanted was that crisp Utah mountain air pouring in at 60 degrees, a soft sweater, and those jeans. You know, that one pair every one has that they’ve had forever that shapes the backside just right. Yeah, I’m ready to wear those some more.
Since shopping is a privilege that only people with spare cash enjoy, I’ll be planning this year’s fall outfits out of what is in my closet. Below I’ll be sharing my favorite fall pieces from last year and how I plan to style them. Let me know in the comments any ideas you have, I need all the help I can get!
I loved these pants so much last year. This year I’d love to pair them with some white heeled boots and a white oversized sweater.
These pants are amazingggg (and sadly no longer available). This year I’ll be pairing them with a blush colored blouse and some off-white kitten heels. Very fem.
Just wanted to go on the record that I will no longer be wearing my FAVORITE sunglasses because gen z had to go and name them “clout goggles”. Some stranger at the grocery store informed me of this, so I told them that I bought them before that was a thing, to which they replied, “That makes you a hypebeast.” Suddenly, I feel extremely old.
This year I’ll make this outfit a little more casual with some high waisted jeans, a vintage band tee, and some white sneakers.
My second skin. Literally all I wore last year. This year I’ll wear it with a black knit dress and some leopard print slides.
Here you can shop some of the items I talked about above!
Hope you found some fall inspo from my closet and camera roll rummaging! Talk soon.
